The total structural timber area covered was 4,700 m2, overall building height was approximately 30 meter and the basement depth was 5 meter below the existing ground level.

The major item of specialist installation works included as follows:

1. Totally 150,000 pieces (approx. 4,500m3) of timber components:
  • Structural members: 100,000 pieces
  • Non-structural members: 50,000 pieces

    1.1 The longest beam located at Main Hall

    • Size: 10,340 mm (L) x 320 mm (W) x 460 mm (D);

    1.2 The heaviest beam located at Hall of Celestial Kings

    • Weight: approx. 1.3 ton.
    • Size: 9,000 mm (L) x 340 mm (W) x 500 mm (D)

    1.3 The longest column located at Hall of Celestial Kings

    • Weight: approx. 1.5 ton.
    • Size: 6,800 mm (H) x 560 mm (Diameter)

    1.4 The largest door located at Main Hall

    • Weight: approx. 1.5 ton.
    • Size: (1,900 + 1,900) mm x 3,500 mm (H) x 100 mm (thickness);
2. Totally 198,000 pieces of roof tiles from Japan comprised of:

    2.1 2 nos. ridge decoration at Main Hall

    • Size: 1,300 mm (L) x 800 mm (W) x 1,800 mm (H)
    • Weight: each approx. 1 ton;

    2.2 2 nos. top roof capping tile at Bell Tower & Drum Tower

    • each included 8 individual compound to complex
    • Size: 1,250 mm (L) x 1,250 mm (W) x 2,100 mm (H)
    • Weight: each set approx. 1 ton;

    2.3 The beast head ridge tile at Main Hall

    • The ridge tile of the Main Hall is modeled after the pieces excavated from the site in Xian, Shaanxi province that once was the site of Chongxuan Gate of the Daming Palace of the Tang Dynasty.

    2.4 Wa Dang (Tile Guard)

    • The Design on the Chi Lin tile guard was taken from the Lotus Pattern that appeared on the tile guards excavated from the site of a Tang Bell Tower in the Guangxiao Monastery, Guanzhou Guang Dong province.
3. Totally 15,000 m2 (approx. 4,000 ton.) of granite stone from China & India
    3.1 The largest granite stone located at Main Hall
    • Size: 4.6 m (L) x 1.2 m (W) x 0.2 m (H)
    • Weight: approx. 3 ton;
4. 24m (W) x 4m (H) acoustic folding door system at lower ground
5.  Totally 30 nos. Buddha Status inside each halls and the "Pagoda of ten thousand Buddhas" consisting over ten thousand Buddhas status (see Photo 1 - 4)
6. 1 no. of White Jade Lying Buddha Status with 5 m (L) x 1.5 m (W) x 1.2 m (H) and weight of 18 tons from China located at lower ground
7. 1 no. of Bell with 1 m (W) x 1.2 m (D) x 3 m (H) which made of copper from Shanghai of China (approx. 1.5 ton)
8. 1 no. of Drum (Tai-drum) with 2.1 m (W) x 2.1 m (D) x 3 m (H) which made up of 3,000 years cherry tree from Japan approx. 1.5 ton. In weight
9. Halfen channel system to be applied to the support of timber structure at Fa Tong, Pu Tong Ta and the Pagoda of Buddha Status
10. 1 no. of lifting platform system for disabled at ground level from Germany
