Introducing a new construction method in Hong Kong is by no means an easy exercise under the tight scrutiny of the local statues. Under the regulations of Hong Kong, all private construction works shall be approved by the Building Department first, then a consent shall be applied for before site works can be commenced.
To ensure the confidence of Building Department in our precast construction technology, we built 1:1 mock-up by using the new precast technology in Shunde, PRC. We invited Buildings Department to visit the mock-up in order to demonstrate the stability and integrity of the new construction method. Consent for the new construction technology is given after satisfactory demonstration of our system.
