Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team Recognised with the Construction Industry Volunteer Award

The Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team has won the bronze award in the "Excellence in Construction Industry Volunteering Project" category for its "Cantonese Opera Charity Show", at the first Construction Industry Volunteer Award Presentation Ceremony organised by the Construction Industry Council. In addition to the Company award, 15 Hip Hing and Vibro colleagues also received the "Construction Industry Volunteer Service" award for their commitment and active participation.

Established in 2001, the Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team has been partnering with different NGOs to organise various activities for society's needy groups. The "Cantonese Opera Charity Show", which is now in its 11th year and co-organsied with the YWCA, is the largest annual event with nearly 70 volunteers getting involved, serving nearly 700 elderly people. The event earned great praise from the judges for encouraging the elderly to visit other communities and promoting Chinese Opera.

Hip Hing and Vibro have also been awarded the "Most Supportive Organisations" and "Merit Award for Participation" at the ceremony.
