Inland Revenue Tower in Kai Tak Development commences

A commencement ceremony for the design and construction of Inland Revenue Tower in Kai Tak Development Area was held on 23 May. Hip Hing's senior management and representatives from the Architectural Services Department, Inland Revenue Department and consulting companies gathered together to wish for project success.

To echo with the construction revolution promoted by the government, Mr Patrick Kwan, Executive Director of Hip Hing, said at the ceremony that, in addition to the adoption of BIM for planning and design, the project team has also installed facial recognition technology and GPS tracking devices on construction machinery to enhance site safety. For caring for the community, the team will reach out the neighbors in a proactive way through the “WE CARE 3.0” CSR campaign.

The Inland Revenue Tower is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2021. The project team is required to complete the construction of one 19-storey office with one-storey basement and a footbridge connecting the existing Trade and Industry Tower within 40 months.
