Collective and concerted efforts are the key to fighting the epidemic.
One of our recent anti-epidemic efforts has been to join forces with the Construction Industry Council to sponsor and provide four office containers for the care and attention homes of Pok Oi Hospital. The containers will serve as temporary stays for its caretakers, and for storage of anti-epidemic items. “We salute all caretakers and everyone fighting the virus for their selflessness and steadfast commitment”, expressed CY Fung, Executive Director who leads Hip Hing’s anti-epidemic committee.
Tony Za, Deputy Head of Contracts Division and a CIC representative visited Ms Jenny Shek, Superintendent of Pok Oi Hospital, Yeung Chun Pui Care and Attention Home, and sent the warmest greetings to the caretakers in March.
Against all the odds, Jenny has remained resolute and positive, “We are the second home to the elderly. In good times and in bad times, we must take good care of them. After the rain comes the rainbow. We are so looking forward to having Poon Choi with our elderly residents very soon.”
