Proactively explore new technologies that help to optimize construction processes.
Conduct research and perform data analysis on emerging trends in construction technology
Review and evaluate external research papers on innovative construction methods.
Analyze and optimize existing engineering processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness
Valuate the potential benefits of proposed innovation over current practice.
Lead project team to integrate innovative solutions, from proposal preparation to project completion.
Establish and execute strategic plans to replicate successful innovative applications in similar projects.
Explore potential research funding (such as Innovative Technology Funding) in market
Explore the potential of intellectual property (IP) rights for new technologies.
Prepare routine reports for direct supervisors on the progress of research and development initiatives.
Host inter-departmental meetings and provide progress reports to align common goals, KPIs, and values.
Visit and inspect construction sites as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Building / Civil / Mechanical Engineering / Information Engineering / Computer Science / Electronic Engineering or a relevant discipline.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the construction industry or engineering R&D.
Familiarity with relevant software and digital tools (e.g., CAD, BIM, GIS, Power BI, DMS, DWSS, AI, etc.)
Sufficient experiences in writing innovation proposals, leading innovation projects, applying market-available innovation funding, and conducting researches and analysis.
Knowledge in sustainable construction practices is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
Enthusiastic in exploring and learning the latest technologies that benefit the construction industry.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Co-OrdinatororSenior Co-Ordinator.
