Chu Tat Chi joined Hip Hing Construction in 1979 and has been the Managing Director since 2010. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic in 1978 with a Diploma in Building Studies. Mr Chu has over 41 years of experience in the civil engineering and construction industries. Mr. Chu is also a director of Quon Hing Concrete Company Limited. Prior to joining Hip Hing he had worked in the Public Works Department of Hong Kong Government.

Kenneth Ma joined Hip Hing Construction in 1995, has been General Manager (Business Development) since 2006 and a Deputy Managing Director since 2023. Mr. Ma graduated from Morrison Hill Technical Institute in 1987 and Hong Kong Polytechnic in 1989. He also obtained Master's Degrees from Curtin University of Technology in 2002 and Griffith University in 2004. He has over 34 years of experience in the construction industry and has been a Member of the HKICM since 2002.
Mok Kwok Ho first joined Hip Hing Construction in 1982 and has been an Executive Director since 2011. He graduated from Hong Kong Baptist College in 1982 with a Diploma in Civil Engineering. He subsequently obtained a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Design and Management from the University of Hong Kong in 2007. He is a Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (HKIE) in the Civil and Building Disciplines. Mr. Mok has over 40 years of experience, with particular expertise in reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, structural steel and precast structures and a variety of foundation types. He is also experienced in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and Modular Integrated Construction (MiC).
Derek So joined Hip Hing Construction in 2015 as an Executive Director. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1986 with an Associateship in Civil and Structural Engineering and qualified as a Chartered Structural Engineer in 1990. Mr So has over 34 years of experience in civil engineering and building construction in Hong Kong, India and the Middle East. Prior to joining Hip Hing, he worked at Gammon Construction and Ove Arup & Partners.
Patrick Kwan joined Hip Hing Construction as a Site Engineer in 1985 and has been Executive Director since 2016. He graduated in 1980 from the Polytechnic of Central London, UK (now known as the University of Westminster) with a 1st Class BSc (hons) Degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, the Institute of Civil Engineers.
Fung Chi Yiu joined Hip Hing Construction in 2012 in the position of General Manager (Commercial) and has been an Executive Director since 2021. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and holds degrees of LLB and B App Sc and a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Law, Mediation and Arbitration. Mr Fung has more than 29 years of experience in the construction industry gained in consultant and contracting organisations and government.
Tony Za joined Hip Hing Construction in 1994 as a Project Coordinator, and has more than 32 years of experience of managing a wide range of projects. He was appointed as Executive Director from July 2024. Mr Za graduated from City University Hong Kong with a BSc in Building and MSc in Building Management. He is a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (FHKIE); the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (FHKICM); and the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB). He is also a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (MHKIS); a Registered Construction Manager (RCM) and a Registered Professional Surveyor (RPS). He is currently the Honorary President of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers and Chairman of Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (Building Division) in 2023/2024.

Simon Lee has been with Hip Hing Construction since 2000 and has served as Director of Engineering since July 2024. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon, USA, and a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Design and Management from the University of Hong Kong. Mr. Lee is a Registered Architect and a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects. With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, he has an extensive background in both consultancy and construction organizations.

Kent Chan joined Hip Hing Construction in Dec 2010 as Senior Project Manager and has been Director (Operations) since July 2024. He graduated from 2004 with BSc in Construction Management in Wolverhampton University.
Mr. Kent Chan has over 32 years of experience in Construction. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellowship Class (HKICM).
Eric Lau joined Hip Hing Construction as Project Manager in 2006 and was most recently promoted to Director (Operation) in July of 2025. He has over 35 years of experience in engineering and construction in Hong Kong and has been involved in a range of complex and landmark projects, including Kai Tak Sports Park, WKCD’s Xiqu Centre and HKCEC Atrium Link Extension projects. Mr. Lau holds a BSc in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Hong Kong and Executive MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers. He is also an Authorized Person (List of Engineers) and a Registered Structural Engineer.
Steven Lo joined Hip Hing Construction as Building Engineer in 1996 and was promoted to Project Manager in 2013. Steven Lo was promoted to Director (Operations) in July of 2025. He has over 30 years of project management experience in Hong Kong, having been involved in a wide range of projects, including LegCo Complex Expansion, Lee Garden Eight and Caroline Hill Road District Court building projects. Mr. Lo holds a Building Engineering and Management Degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a chartered Building Engineer, a Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers, a Member of The Australian Institute of Building, a Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers and a Member of Singapore Institute of Building Limited.
Chung Tat Yeung joined Hip Hing Construction as Director (Operations) in July of 2025. He has over 30 years of construction project management experience. Before joining Hip Hing, his experience included working for the construction management team of a listed developer and a well-known international construction company. He has held key positions in a number of construction projects including large scale office / hotel / retail complex, residential, hotel, industrial, hospital A&A work and commercial buildings, government complexes and railway terminals. Mr. Chung is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and holds a Master of Science in Construction Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology and Management.
Richard Shek joined Hip Hing Construction as Director (Operations) in July of 2025. He has over 25 years of project management experience in Hong Kong and Macau, having been involved in a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, hotel, mixed-use developments projects, and public housing. Mr. Shek holds a Bachelor of Building degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is a Chartered Construction Manager, a member of The Chartered Institute of Building, Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers, and The Australian Institute of Building.
