Residential and commercial development at Kai Tak Area 1H Site 3 Commences

The commencement of building work ceremony for the residential and commercial development at Kai Tak Area 1H Site 3 held on 20 April was well attended by representatives from Hip Hing, the client and the consultants. The officiating guests performed a roasted pig cutting ceremony wishing for a smooth construction process and a successful project.

Advanced construction technologies are being adopted in the project, including 3D scanning to capture and analyse site location data; Building Information Modelling to conduct clash analysis; and 3D model printing to help visualizing the site disposition and work sequences.

The project scope comprises the construction of 4 high-rise residential towers and 4 low-rise residential towers, together with a podium and basement which contains retail areas, car park and clubhouse. The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2018.
