Hip Hing wins Jockey Club Happy Valley Clubhouse Extension contract

Hip Hing Construction has been awarded the main construction contract for the extension of Happy Valley Clubhouse of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, which is targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of 2019. The clubhouse extension will provide more space and facilities for the Club's members.

Located at the site of the former stables block in Shan Kwong Road, the new extension is a 13-storey building with a gross floor area of more than 50,000 square metres. The extension will have its own separate entrance and drop-off area and be linked by covered bridges to the existing clubhouse. Other scope of work includes A&A works to the existing Clubhouse, slope upgrading works within Shan Kwong Road Park and road junction improvement works. Hip Hing is also responsible for the application of the Club License.
