Hip Hing attains "Joyful@Healthy Workplace Best Practices Award"

Hip Hing’s project team of Home Ownership Scheme Development at Ngan Kwong Wan Road in Mui Wo, jointly with Lick Hang Kindergarten, won an Excellence Award in the “Joyful@Healthy Workplace Best Practices Award” (Branch / Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Category), and a Bronze Award in the "Best Performance Award" at the Occupational Health Award 2017-18 on 15 March.

Since moving into the construction site in Mui Wo in 2015, the project team has co- organised a series of innovative learning activities with Lick Hang Kindergarten. For instance, the project team partnered with teachers to teach kindergarten children to put 5S into practice and help them to cultivate a sense of self-discipline. Another activity is to teach children to use the “Pointing and Calling”occupational safety action in which they were guided to use slogans and hand gestures to express and receive orders so as to enable effective communication.
