Hip Hing has been awarded the main contract for the proposed office development at 2 Murray Road in Central. The project, which is one of the highly anticipated landmarks in Hong Kong, is targeted to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.
This Grade A office tower is designed by world-renowned Zaha Hadid Architects. The project includes the construction of a 34-storey tower, with a 5-storey basement carpark constructed by the top-down method. The building is a composite structure of reinforced concrete and structural steel with outrigger steel trusses designed at the 9th to 11th floors and 20th to 22nd floors. New permanent footbridges will be built at the 1st floor of the tower, providing convenient access to business areas in Central.
