“Awesome! The show is great!” the audience shouted out to the stage in excitement, as the performers took their bows at the curtain call.
The iconic annual Cantonese Opera Show jointly organised by Hip Hing – Vibro Volunteer Team and Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) was held on 30 July at Xiqu Centre, Hong Kong’s premier Cantonese Opera venue built by Hip Hing.
We were honored to have Mr Edward Tse, JP, Director of Architectural Services as our Guest of Honour. During his speech, Mr Tse expressed, “I highly appreciate the volunteers’ passion and energy, which helped spread love and care in the community.”
The event was attended by 550 elderly citizens. We thank YWCA, the performers from the Cantonese Opera Troupe 笙韻軒劇團, and our volunteers who made the event such a success!
