Hip Hing Construction spoke with media sharing about how the worker personal safety and rewards and penalty scheme incorporated in the mobile app “Hip Hing Connect” optimize the safety management of construction sites, and how the scoring scheme help workers to increase the safety awareness at the workplace.
“The worker personal reward and penalty scheme is to help enhance workers’ safety awareness at the construction sites. In Hong Kong, there are currently about 120,000 active workers on duty at the construction sites every day. As of the end of 2023, there have been 56,433 active workers subscribed and become “Hip Hing Connect” users”, Deputy Managing Director, Kenneth Ma mentioned.
