Hip Hing granted Wastewi$e and Energywi$e Label
Hip Hing Construction’s Chai Wan Office is granted Wastewi$e Label (Class of Excellence) and Energyw$se Label (Class of Good) in recognition of its commitment in environmental protection and waste reduction. With concerted efforts made by Hip Hing staff, 2.6 tons of solid waste is reduced and 170,000 kWh energy is saved last year.
Jointly presented by the Environmental Protection Department, Environmental Campaign Committee and Advisory Council on the Environment, the Environmental Labels scheme under the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) aims to encourage Hong Kong businesses/organizations to adopt measures in promoting environmental protection. The scheme also aims to recognise organizations with an outstanding environmental performance.
