Gammon – Hip Hing Joint Venture wins contract to build new cargo terminal for Cathay Pacific

Hip Hing construction, in partnership with Gammon Construction (“Gammon – Hip Hing Joint Venture”) has been awarded a contract to build a new cargo terminal for Cathay Pacific Services at Hong Kong International Airport, Chek Lap Kok. The HK$4.2-billion project employing a precast and “system-build” in-situ construction technology includes an eight-story cargo storage building, an office building and the establishment of a material-handling system (MHS). The contract also covers finishes and building services. The total area of the new cargo terminal is 280,000 square metre.
