The 8th Hong Kong Occupational Safety & Health Forum cum Award Presentation Ceremony jointly organised by Hong Kong Occupational Safety & Health Council and 12 organizations including government bodies, trade unions and labour unions was held in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 9 October (Fri). Mr. Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare officiated the ceremony and presented awards to winners.

Gammon - Hip Hing JV Tamar Development Project win three awards this year, which include:
Safety Management System Award (Construction) - Gold
Safety Promotion Award - Bronze
Work Safe Behaviour Promotional Award - Bronze

In addition, Hip Hing Construction’s CLP Power Transmission Projects (11 No. of Substation) won the Work Safe Behaviour Promotional Merit Award and Hip Hing Construction Co. Ltd. was granted Safety Performance Award (Construction). These awards are great honors to both Hip Hing Construction and its employees in recognition of their hard work on ensuring industrial safety.
