HKCA Construction Safety Innovation Award 2008
HKCA Annual Safety Conference and Award Presentation Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 29 August 2008. Mr. Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, GBS, JP, Permanent Secretary for Economic Development and Labour (Labour) was the officiating guest for the event. Speakers of the conference include Deputy Director of Buildings and representatives from both CLP and Urban Renewal Authority.
Safety awards were presented after the conference. Hip Hing Construction Co. Ltd., Hip Hing Builders Co. Ltd., and Ngo Kee Construction Co Ltd. received the HKCA Proactive Safety Contractor Award 2007 while Hip Hing Builders Co. Ltd. also won the Construction Safety Innovation Award 2008 with the C-shaped lifting frame for precast units.
