Hip Hing and Vibro awarded Caring Company Logos
Hip Hing Construction has again been awarded the "10 Years Plus Caring Company Logo" by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The award was presented at the Partnership Expo 2015 cum Recognition Ceremony held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 25 March 2015. This is the 13th consecutive year that the Company is honored with the Logo for having demonstrated good corporate social responsibility. Vibro (H.K) and Vibro Construction, members of the Hip Hing Construction Group, also obtained the 5 Years Plus Logo.
The award recognises Hip Hing Construction Group's continued commitment to community, employees and environment over the years. The Group motivated up to 720 staff members to serve the community through the Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team which clocked up more than 4,376 hours of voluntary work in the year of 2014/15.
As for employee care, the Hip Hing Construction Group is devoted to promote a caring culture within the organization. Apart from offering birthday leave and voluntary leave to staff, the Group also introduced family care leave and flexible working hour arrangement for site-based staff in early 2015.
On environmental protection, the Group has been implementing energy conservation measures proactively, such as developing an efficient energy management system by following the ISO 50001 standards and introducing seven Euro-5 trucks to the Company's fleet to reduce vehicle emissions.
As a corporate citizen, the Group will continue to strive to integrate corporate social responsibility into every aspect of our businesses.
