Handling employees’ compensation claims, from information collection, completion of statutory forms and subsequent follow up
Undertaking initial review and evaluation of claims and claims documents, verifying coverage and ensuring compliance of insurance policies
Communicating and liaising with project team (and where appropriate, with sub-contractor and injured worker), brokers, insurers, health care service providers, etc
Early detection of problematic claims and propose solution
Assist in preparing management reports and statistics
Assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Ensure all claims are processed effectively
Requirements
Post-secondary education with minimum 5 years’ experience in construction EC claims handling; or
Possess a Diploma or Degree or professional insurance qualifications in ANZII or ACII or equivalent professional qualifications with minimum 3 years of claims handling experience
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Self-initiative, capable to work independently and under pressure
Attention to details and quality
Able to work as team player and collaborate with all departments.
Proficient in written/spoken English and Chinese.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
