Quality Building Award 2014

Hip Hing Construction received a Certificate of Finalist for its Asia Society Hong Kong Center project in the Hong Kong Building (Renovation / Revitalization) category at the Quality Building Award Presentation Ceremony held at Marriott Hotel Hong Kong on 6 June, with Chief Executive Mr. Leung Chun Ying as the officiating guest.

Located at 9 Justice Drive, Admiralty, the Asia Society Hong Kong Center was originally a British Army Explosives Magazine Compound. Through conservation, rehabilitation and adaptive re-use, this heritage site was successfully transformed into a cultural and artistic hub in 2012 and offers a broad variety of programs in the form of lectures, performances, film screenings and exhibitions to the community.

Jointly organised biennially by nine local professional organisations including the Hong Kong Construction Association, the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers, the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, the Hong Kong Institute of Housing, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, the Hong Kong Chapter of International Facility Management Association, and the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong; the Quality Building Award is well recognised by the industry with the objective to commend building teams who manage construction projects with outstanding quality and remarkable team efforts. The theme of this year is "Collaboration for Quality".
