Hip Hing Construction 50th Anniversary Cocktail Reception
Hip Hing Construction Company Limited (“Hip Hing Construction”) celebrated its 50th Anniversary on 29 April with a cocktail reception at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Around 400 guests, including government officials, representatives from its parent companies, clients and business partners, were in attendance.
The Secretary for Development, Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, GBS, JP, was the guest of honour who officiated at the cocktail reception, together with Dr. Cheng Yu-tung, Chairman of New World Development; Dr. David Sin Wai-kin, Executive Director of New World Development; Mr. Tsang Yam-pui, Executive Director of NWS; Mr. Patrick Lam Wai-hon, Executive Director of NWS; Mr. Brian Cheng Chi-ming, Executive Director of NWS; Mr. Chu Tat-chi, Managing Director of Hip Hing Construction and Mr. Allan Chan Sau-kit, Director of Hip Hing Construction. The eight officiating guests collectively lowered a bar causing Hip Hing Construction’s logo to be elevated above the stage like a rising sun, symbolising the company’s glittering future and prosperous development.
‘We have redefined Hip Hing Construction’s vision “To be the contractor you trust”, where our aim is to ensure that all of our stakeholders have confidence in Hip Hing, all that it stands for and all that it does,’ said Mr. Chu Tat-chi, Managing Director of Hip Hing Construction in his speech. ‘To achieve our vision the guiding principles of our business strategy shall be to continue to deliver projects that exceed the expectations of our clients, but being ever mindful of our corporate social responsibilities we recognize the contribution we can make to building and shaping a better living environment for the people of Hong Kong.’
Mr. Chu also took the opportunity to express his heartfelt thanks to boards of directors of NWS Holdings and New World Development and all of Hip Hing’s clients and business partners for their trust and unwavering support.
