Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Macau

With an 18th century Portuguese palace inspirated interior design, Mandarin Oriental Macau is a 5-star hotel comprising a 13-storey hotel block with 438 rooms, a 4-storey podium boasting 5 top-class restaurants and 2-storey of car park with 135 parking spaces. It is a reinforced concrete building finished externally with small two-toned white masaic tiles. Ribbon-banded bronze-tinted glass windows run across the facade. A water treatment system was installed in the podium. Extensive underground water storage tanks were cosntructed. The water travels to the podium roof from the tanks and undergoes an ultra-violet sterilisation process.
