Tseung Kwan O Hospital Expansion

The Tseung Kwan O Hospital expansion project undertook by Hip Hing – Chun Wo joint venture was commenced in 2009. The project aims to meet the long-term medical demand of the Kowloon East districts by providing residents advanced medical facilities, improved hospital environment and all-rounded patient services. The scope of work included design and construction of a new ambulatory block within the Tseung Kwan O Hospital and a 2-storey link bridge connecting the new Ambulatory Block to the existing main Hospital Block. The 11-storey Ambulatory Block will accommodate new services, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Psychiatry Out-patient Department, day service, and Geriatric day service.
