Yau Ma Tei Police Station

Hip Hing was the design and build contractor for the Yau Ma Tei Police Station. The scope of the project comprised piled foundations, RC structure, building services installations and architectural fitting out works. As the construction site is located at the West Kowloon Reclamation where the rock level is as deep as 70 metres, this project broke Hip Hing’s own record for the construction of the deepest foundation using H-piles .

During the design process, Hip Hing fully demonstrated its flexibility by working closely with the end-users architect to ensure the needs of the users were accommodated as much as possible. Besides, we adopted an eco-friendly construction approach, making use of precast concrete and green building materials where possible.
