Tamar Development Project

Hip Hing (in joint venture with Gammon) is the Design and Build Contractor for the Tamar Development Project. The project comprises the Central Government Office Complex, the Legislative Council Complex ancilliary facilities and recreational open spaces. The project's environmentally friendly and energy-efficient features include double-layered ventilated facades, highly energy-efficient seawater-cooled chiller plants, solar panels to generate electricity, service-on-demand escalators, daylight sensor controls and computerised lighting controls.
