Quality Building Award 2008

Hip Hing Construction obtained two awards in the “Quality Building Award 2008” award presentation ceremony dated 4 July. These awards are Certificate of Merit (Non-Residential Category) for AIG Tower and Certificate of Merit (Residential Category) for Kwai Chung Estate Phase V.

The bi-annual awards are organized by the Hong Kong Construction Association, Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers, the Building Division, Building Services Division and Structural Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, the Hong Kong Institute of Housing, Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, Hong Kong Chapter of International Facility Management Association and the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong. The awards aim to recognize projects constructed with true quality.

The judging criteria include vision of quality, project brief and teamwork, design and innovation, project management and cost control, environmental considerations, sustainability, safety, hygiene, users' response, customer satisfaction, operation and maintenance. The winning buildings have comprehensive facilities that offer tenants the highest standards. Winning projects also have to maintain top-quality property management and service after completion.

Certificate of Merit (Residential Category): Kwai Chung Estate Phase V
