CLP Lai Wan Interchange Substation

The CLP Lai Wan Interchange Substation located at Lai Po Road, Lai Chi Kok, is the 20th power transmission substation completed by Hip Hing since our partnership with CLP Hong Kong began around 15 years ago. Hip Hing’s project team holds high safety and environmental standards and often strives for innovation. In this project, our project team achieved a first by introducing an aqua plants pond to a construction site in Hong Kong. This environmental initiative can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with electricity generation and in addition it helps to dissipate the heat arising from power generation.
